Who are we?

The Rural and Remote Stream is a network of SHPA members who work to improve pharmacy services and medicines use for patients treated in remote, rural and regional Australia. We work to ensure that people who live in these areas, as well as those who visit, have access to high quality pharmacy services when and where they need them. We also work to support the professional development of pharmacists, technicians and other members of the health workforce who practice in remote, rural and regional Australia.

Why join?

Join the Rural and Remote Interest Group if you want to access our network of experts and peers through the Rural and Remote Discussion Forum. You don’t need to be a rural or remote pharmacist or technician to join the Rural and Remote Interest Group.

To view the self enrolment option for the Rural and Remote Interest Group, please enter the username and password for your Online CPD account* (created for you by SHPA)

*Please contact specialtypractice@shpa.org.au if you are unable to see the self enrolment option or need assistance with your Online CPD account details.
