Who are we?

The General Medicine Stream is a network of SHPA members who work in General Medicine. As the patient cohort admitted to General Medical Units is broad our interests also include cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, immunology and endocrinology, critical care and aged care. Most commonly, we work in inpatient general medical units or general medicine outpatient clinics, however we may also work in ambulatory settings or primary care settings where patients receive pharmacy services.

Why join?

Join the General Medicine Interest Group if you want to access our network of general medicine experts and peers through the General Medicine Discussion Forum. You don’t need to specialise in general medicine to join the General Medicine Interest Group.
