Nephrology Interest Group

Who are we?

The Nephrology Stream is a network of SHPA members who work in nephrology units,kidney transplant units,critical care, dialysis units and any other inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory or primary care settings where patients of any age with renal impairment receive pharmacy services.

Join the Nephrology Interest Group if you want to access our network of renal experts and peers through the Nephrology Discussion Forum. You don’t need to specialise in nephrology to join the Nephrology Interest Group.

If you are an experienced nephrology pharmacist, why not apply to join the Nephrology Practice Group. Belonging to the Nephrology Practice Group gives you all the benefits of the Nephrology Interest Group, plus opportunities to support members of the Nephrology Interest Group and contribute to important SHPA work relating to nephrology – including Standard of Practice in Nephrology for Pharmacy Services, SHPA submissions relevant to nephrology, and SHPA nephrology education.

Members of the Nephrology Practice Group are also eligible to nominate for election to the Nephrology Leadership Committee.
